Police in West Godavari district carried out a sudden search operation in Lakshmaneswaram village under Narasapuram mandal on Thursday, leading to the seizure of a large amount of unaccounted cash.
The raid was conducted at the residence of Pastor Ghanta John Babu following specific intelligence inputs about illegal cash movement into Narasapuram.
Unaccounted money recovered during search
During the search, officials recovered ₹2,27,94,000 in cash that was not accounted for in any financial records. The entire amount has been seized by the police for further investigation.
