Man Dies Near Kazipet Railway Station; Police Probe Circumstances Behind Incident
A 45-year-old man died after an apparent suicide near Kazipet Railway Station in Warangal district on Sunday night, with railway police launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Preliminary inquiries indicate that the man was on a video call with his wife shortly before his death.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Nayak, 45. According to the initial information available to investigators, he was speaking to his wife through a video call when the incident occurred near the railway tracks close to Kazipet Railway Station.
Police said the woman witnessed the events unfold during the call and was left deeply distressed by the incident. Authorities have not disclosed further details while the investigation remains underway.
After receiving information about the incident, railway police reached the scene, recovered the body and shifted it to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and officials have begun a detailed investigation.
Investigators are examining whether family disputes or other personal issues may have contributed to the man's decision. However, police have not confirmed any specific reason and said the exact circumstances leading to the death will be established only after the investigation is completed.
Officials are also expected to record statements from family members and gather other relevant evidence as part of the inquiry. The findings of the investigation will determine the factors that preceded the incident.
