A youth was killed following a dispute during a cricket game in Visakhapatnam’s Arilova area on Sunday evening. The incident took place at Peddagadili, where a minor argument between two players escalated into violence.
According to police accounts, the altercation began while Ajith (23) and Kishore (26) were playing cricket. The disagreement continued even after the match ended, with tensions remaining unresolved between the two.
Attack at Public Junction
Police said that after the game, Kishore allegedly attacked Ajith with a knife at Peddagadili Junction. The assault occurred in public view, with several bystanders present at the time.
Ajith sustained severe injuries in the attack and died on the spot. The sudden escalation from a sports-related dispute to a fatal assault has caused concern among local residents.
