The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) released the results for the 2026 Intermediate Annual Examinations on Sunday. Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao and Education Secretary Dr. Yogita Rana officially announced the outcomes at the Intermediate Board office located in Nampalli.

The declaration marks the conclusion of the evaluation process for lakhs of students across the state. Officials presented the statistical breakdown for the first-year general and vocational streams during the formal briefing held at 11:00 AM.

Performance Breakdown and Pass Percentages

According to the data released by the board, a total of 4,89,123 students appeared for the Inter first-year examinations. Out of these, 3,23,807 students successfully cleared the papers, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 66.02%.

Gender-based data indicates that girls have outperformed boys in the first-year results. The pass percentage for female students stands at 74.4%, while male students recorded a pass percentage of 57.69%.

Accessing Results and Official Portals

Students can now access their marks memos through the official websites tgbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. To retrieve the digital scorecards, candidates are required to enter their hall ticket numbers and dates of birth as per board records.

In addition to the web portals, the board has introduced a WhatsApp service for result dissemination. Students can send a 'Hi' message to 8096958096 and follow the prompt by typing 'BIE Exam Result' to receive their scores on the messaging platform.

Provisions for Re-counting and Re-verification

The TGBIE has confirmed that students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for administrative reviews. The board will provide windows for both re-counting of marks and comprehensive re-verification of answer scripts.

Detailed notifications regarding the fee structure and deadlines for these applications will be issued shortly on the board's official portal. The impact of these results will determine eligibility for second-year enrollments and various competitive entrance examinations.
