According to the Education Department, schools will remain closed from April 24. The holiday period will continue for several weeks during peak summer conditions.

Holidays to continue till June 11

Officials confirmed that the summer vacation will extend until June 11, covering a total of 48 days. The schedule has been formally issued as part of the academic calendar for the current year.

The extended break is intended to provide relief to students during the period of intense heat, which has been increasing across Telangana.

Applies to all categories of schools

The Education Department clarified that the holiday schedule will be applicable to all schools in the state. This includes government, private, and aided institutions without exception.

Authorities have instructed all educational institutions to strictly follow the notified dates and ensure compliance with the schedule.

Schools to reopen on June 12

After the conclusion of the summer break, schools across Telangana are scheduled to reopen on June 12. Academic activities for the new term will resume on that date.

School administrations are expected to make necessary arrangements for reopening in line with the academic calendar.

Context: Heat conditions influence the academic calendar
