Tadvai Police Arrest Woman for Allegedly Hiring Contract Killers to Murder Husband
The Tadvai police in Hanumakonda district have apprehended a woman and her accomplice for the brutal murder of her husband. The investigation revealed that the accused, identified as Lavanya, allegedly conspired with a contract killing gang to eliminate her husband, Suman, to continue an extramarital affair.
Suman and Lavanya had been married for 15 years and were residing in Tadvai with their two daughters. According to police reports, domestic disputes became frequent after Suman discovered Lavanya’s relationship with another individual. Lavanya reportedly viewed her husband as an obstacle to her personal life and decided to orchestrate the crime.
Execution of the Murder Plan
The police investigation detailed a grisly execution of the murder plot. Members of the hired gang reportedly lured Suman to an isolated location under the guise of an outing or meeting. Once there, the assailants attacked him indiscriminately using broken beer bottles, leading to his immediate death.
In an attempt to destroy evidence and prevent identification of the deceased, the perpetrators poured petrol over Suman's body and set it on fire. The charred remains were later discovered by authorities, who initially registered a case of suspicious death before launching a full-scale homicide probe.

Police Interrogation and Arrest
The Tadvai police initially focused their investigation on the family and local associates. During the questioning process, officers noticed inconsistencies in Lavanya's statements. Under sustained interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to planning the murder in coordination with her partner and the contract gang.
Following the confession, the police took Lavanya and her accomplice into custody. They are currently being processed for judicial remand. The police are also conducting raids to identify and arrest the remaining members of the contract gang who executed the physical assault.
