Telangana Police Arrest Man In Revanth Reddy PA Fraud Case
Telangana Police have arrested a man accused of posing as a personal assistant to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and allegedly demanding money from a real estate company owner in Medak district. The latest update in the Revanth Reddy PA fraud case has raised concerns over impersonation and misuse of political connections to target businessmen.
The accused was identified as Uppala Santosh Gupta, a resident of Shivampet village in Medak district. Police said the accused allegedly contacted the owner of an RR Real Estate firm and claimed to have close links with state ministers and senior political leaders.

According to the incident details shared by police, the accused allegedly informed the businessman that land belonging to the real estate company was facing legal and administrative problems. He reportedly claimed that he could resolve the issue using his political influence if money was paid to him.
Police officials said the accused introduced himself as a PA to the Telangana Chief Minister during phone conversations with the businessman. Based on the complaint filed by the RR Real Estate company, a police investigation was initiated into the matter.
During the inquiry, police reportedly found that the accused had been using photographs taken with ministers and political leaders to threaten or influence businessmen. Officials suspect that the accused may have attempted similar approaches with others by projecting political access.
Police Investigation Reveals Alleged Threat Tactics
Investigators said the accused allegedly used political references and claims of ministerial connections to gain trust and pressure targets into making payments. Police sources indicated that such tactics were used to create fear regarding land-related issues and official clearances.
After collecting preliminary evidence, police arrested the accused and registered a case against him. He was later produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
No official statement was issued from the Chief Minister’s Office regarding the incident at the time of reporting. However, police officials stated that strict action would be taken against individuals misusing the names of political leaders and government offices for illegal financial gain.
