The Pune rural police have uncovered a shocking conspiracy behind what was initially reported as an accidental death near Lonavala. In the latest update on the Pune businessman son murder, officials confirmed that a young woman plotted with her lover to kill her fiancé before their multi-crore wedding.

A stolen passport, a fabricated snake scare, and a 400-foot plunge into a valley reveal a calculated execution that went unnoticed until the victim's family intervened.

Incident Details Formed the Basis of Police Investigation

The matter came to light after the family of 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal expressed suspicion over his sudden death on June 18. Ketan, a real estate director and son of prominent Pune industrialist Vishal Agarwal, reportedly fell from the Lohagad Fort.

Locals alleged it was a tragic accident while taking photos, but the subsequent police investigation told a completely different story.

As per officials, a formal case registered by the local authorities led to a deep interrogation of the victim’s fiancée.

The Pre-Wedding Plot Unraveled

The victim was set to marry 20-year-old Siya Goyal later this year in a grand ceremony. The family had already booked a palace worth Rs 17 crore and arranged two private jets for the wedding guests.

However, Siya was in a relationship with 22-year-old Chetan Choudhary and wanted to call off the alliance permanently.

According to the official statement, the woman orchestrated a series of events to eliminate Ketan before the marriage took place.

Stolen Passport and Failed Attempts

The first red flag appeared earlier this month when the couple reached Mumbai airport for a pre-wedding photoshoot in Bali. Ketan's passport went missing mysteriously at the terminal, forcing them to cancel the trip.

During questioning, the accused confessed she stole the passport and dumped it in a hotel to avoid travelling with him.

Instead of Bali, she convinced Ketan to visit Lohagad Fort near Lonavala, making trips on May 31 and June 14. On the second visit, she tried pushing him off the cliff, but a tree blocked his fall.

She quickly covered up the attempt, claiming she snatched his hand to protect him from a nearby snake.

Final Execution and Accused Arrested

Ketan was reluctant to return to the fort, but Siya mounted intense pressure on him. She even telephoned his mother to convince him to join her for a birthday celebration.

On June 18, they went to the fort again while Chetan followed them covertly to the top.

At the peak, both Siya and Chetan pushed Ketan down the 400-foot-deep gorge, killing him.

Following a thorough probe into the incident details, the accused was arrested along with her accomplice by the Lonavala rural police.

Current Status of the Investigation

As per sources, the law enforcement team will soon take both individuals to the crime scene for a comprehensive reconstruction of the events.

The local court has remanded them to custody while further evidence is being gathered regarding the Pune businessman son murder.
