Police Deny Political Party Connection in Investigation

Despite allegations circulating online, police officials clarified that the accused do not have any officially established connection with any political party at this stage of the investigation.

Authorities stated that the seized material was being examined and preliminary findings suggested the notes may be toy currency rather than professionally printed counterfeit currency. Officials have not yet confirmed whether a formal fake currency case registered under criminal provisions would be expanded further.

The official statement from police attempted to separate the criminal investigation from political claims spreading on social media platforms.

Social Media Posts Intensify Political Controversy

Photographs of accused persons allegedly linked to TDP activities have been widely circulated online, intensifying the political debate around the case. Opposition supporters shared images claiming the arrested individuals were active party workers in the Hindupur constituency.

However, police authorities maintained that the investigation was focused on the circulation of suspicious notes and related activities rather than political affiliations. Officials said further verification of evidence and digital records was continuing.

The latest update from the police investigation indicated that questioning of the accused and examination of seized material were still underway.
