Nizamabad Crime News: Woman arrested in husband’s death case after toxic substance probe

A woman and her alleged partner have been arrested in connection with the death of her husband in Telangana’s Nizamabad district after police investigation reportedly revealed that the death was not caused by an accidental fall. The case came to light after the victim’s family raised doubts over the circumstances surrounding his death.

According to the available details, the incident took place on the outskirts of Nizamabad, where Sandhya and her husband Prashanth had been living after their marriage. Family members reportedly told police that disputes had been occurring between the couple for some time, allegedly linked to Sandhya’s relationship with another person.

The family’s suspicion grew after Prashanth died following what was initially believed to be a fall from a building. They approached the police, who examined the circumstances of the death and began an investigation.

Police investigation uncovers alleged murder plan

During the investigation, police reportedly found that Prashanth had not died immediately after falling from the building. The probe suggested that Sandhya and the other accused allegedly planned to kill him and used his habit of consuming alcohol as part of their plan.

The investigation revealed that Prashanth was allegedly given alcohol before being taken to the building along with the other accused. Police stated that he was pushed from the building, with the intention of making the incident appear accidental.

However, Prashanth survived the fall with serious injuries, according to the investigation details. Police said the accused allegedly made another attempt to kill him after realising he was still alive.

Family’s complaint led to further examination

The victim’s relatives reportedly informed police that they had doubts about the circumstances of the death due to previous issues within the family. Following their complaint, Prashanth’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

The examination and subsequent investigation reportedly revealed details that led police to suspect foul play. Based on the findings, Sandhya and the other accused were taken into custody and questioned.

Police said the accused allegedly confessed to their involvement. They were subsequently produced before a court as part of the legal process.

Case raises concerns over family disputes and violence

The Nizamabad crime case has drawn attention because of the alleged involvement of close family members in the incident. Cases involving disputes within relationships and violent crimes often lead to wider discussions about conflict resolution, family pressures and the importance of seeking support during personal disputes.

Authorities continue to investigate such cases through evidence collection, forensic examination and legal procedures to establish the facts before the court.
