Massive traffic congestion caused by sand lorries completely paralyzed vehicular movement near Sambaiyagudem in the Manuguru region. The gridlock reached such severe proportions that emergency medical services were completely blocked, forcing the relatives of a critical patient to transport them to the hospital manually.
The crisis unfolded along the primary thoroughfare when numerous heavy transport trucks carrying sand parked indiscriminately on both sides of the roadway. This unregulated parking effectively narrowed the operational space of the road, triggering a complete standstill of daily traffic and cutting off transit routes for emergency services.

The administrative lapse manifested into a public health emergency when an ambulance transporting a patient became trapped in the gridlock. Due to the dense lines of heavy sand trucks clogging both sides of the thoroughfare, the emergency vehicle could not find a clearance path to navigate through Sambaiyagudem.
With time working against the patient's survival, relatives and bystanders had to resort to drastic measures.
