Incident Reported Near Wine Shop in Ramadugu Mandal
A woman allegedly attempted suicide by pouring petrol on herself near Vedira wine shop in Ramadugu mandal of Karimnagar district on Tuesday, April 14. The victim has been identified as Kasina Gotta Bharati, a resident of Karimnagar town.
The incident created panic in the area as locals gathered at the spot. Information was immediately passed on to the police.
SI Raju Responds, Shifts Victim to Hospital
Upon receiving the alert, Ramadugu Sub-Inspector Raju reached the location without delay. With the assistance of local residents, the injured woman was shifted to a hospital in Karimnagar for emergency treatment.
At the hospital, SI Raju personally ensured that the victim was taken inside for treatment. He was seen carrying the woman on a stretcher, drawing attention for his prompt response during the emergency.
Condition Reported Critical
According to available information, the woman is currently undergoing treatment and her condition is said to be critical. Doctors are continuing medical care, while further updates on her health status are awaited.
Police Register Case, Probe Underway
Police have registered a case in connection with the incident and initiated an investigation. The reasons behind the suicide attempt are yet to be ascertained.
