Karimnagar Police register a case after a fatal car-lorry collision on the bypass
Two killed as car crashes into stationary lorry
A serious road accident was reported in Karimnagar district after a car rammed into a stationary lorry on the Karimnagar–Peddapalli bypass. The incident occurred near the Bommakal flyover.
Two occupants of the car died on the spot following the impact. The collision severely damaged one side of the vehicle, indicating the force of the crash.
Injuries reported, one in critical condition
Two others travelling in the same car sustained serious injuries. Among them, one person is reported to be in critical condition.
Local residents who noticed the accident immediately alerted the police. The injured were shifted to a hospital in an ambulance for treatment.
Victims identified, survivor escapes with minor injuries
Police identified the deceased as Syed Abdul Rehman (19) and Syed Atiyab Hussain (21). Both died at the scene before medical assistance could be provided.
Md Adnan sustained severe injuries in the accident, while Md Abrar managed to escape with minor injuries after jumping out of the car during the incident.
Police initiate an investigation into the accident
Police reached the accident spot and conducted a preliminary inspection. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
