Indiramma Houses Scheme Hyderabad: Applications Open, Check Eligibility and How to Apply Problem: Hyderabad Residents Can Now Apply for Indiramma Houses The Telangana government has started accepting applications for the Indiramma Houses Scheme in Hyderabad. Until now, the scheme was available only in rural areas. It has now been extended to eligible families living in Greater Hyderabad. Applications begin today through MeeSeva centres. Eligible applicants must submit their forms on or before August 10 . Why It Matters The scheme is expected to help thousands of low-income families who do not own a house or flat. The government plans to provide homes to eligible people across 26 Assembly constituencies in Greater Hyderabad. In the first phase, 500 houses per constituency will be allotted to eligible beneficiaries. The government has already started work on 7,680 houses across 16 Assembly segments , with 480 houses in each segment . Land identification and construction in the remaining constituencies will begin soon. The government has set a target of constructing one lakh houses during the current financial year. Apply through WhatsApp using 80969 58096 . Submit the application through the MeeSeva website . Applicants must provide the required documents while applying. Last Date to Apply Eligible residents must complete the application process before August 10 . Officials will verify the submitted applications and prepare the list of eligible beneficiaries after checking the documents. Application Fee and Required Documents Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹100 . A token advance of ₹10,000 is also required. If a house is not allotted , this amount will be refunded. If a house is allotted, the amount will be adjusted toward the beneficiary's share of the cost. An Aadhaar card is required to submit the application. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must meet the following conditions: Must have lived within the GHMC area for at least 10 years . Must not own a house or flat. Must not have received benefits under any previous housing scheme. Must apply from the Assembly constituency where they currently live. Annual family income must not exceed ₹6 lakh . House Cost and Payment Details The government will construct multi-storey apartment flats under the scheme. The government will provide a ₹5 lakh subsidy , while the beneficiary must pay the remaining ₹6 lakh . The beneficiary's contribution will be collected in stages: ₹1 lakh at the time of house allotment. ₹2 lakh during RCC construction. ₹2 lakh during the final stage of construction. The remaining amount before possession is handed over. According to the scheme rules, beneficiaries cannot sell the allotted house .
