Allegations of Illegal Gravel Mining in NTR District
YSRCP Leader Wants Probe Into Illegal Mining in G. Konduru
Andhra Pradesh minister and YSRCP leader Jogi Ramesh says there is big-time illegal mining happening in the G. Konduru area of NTR district. He says this is happening with the help of Mylavaram MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad. Jogi Ramesh wants the government to take action and investigate the mining activity.
He made these comments after visiting a site where people were digging up gravel in Chegireddipadu.
He says the people doing the digging are taking gravel from the place.
The issue is that people are digging up a lot of gravel and moving it out of the area. Jogi Ramesh wants to know how this can happen without the local leaders knowing about it. He says this digging is affecting farmland and forests.
Jogi Ramesh also says the MLA is allowing people to take out resources without any checks. He wants the MLA to explain what is going on.
