The woman harassment case was registered and investigated by the Abids Police Station. Acting quickly on the complaint, police traced the accused and initiated legal proceedings without delay.
Officials said all five accused were working as catering labourers and were originally from Nepal. They were residing in the King Koti area of Hyderabad at the time of the incident.
The arrested individuals were identified as Sunil (23), Umesh (22), Lakshman (23), Purushottam (22), and Ram (23). Police stated that the accused were involved in harassing a woman near Nizam College while under the influence of alcohol.
Court Awards Jail Sentence After Police Investigation
Following the completion of the police investigation and submission of the case before the court, all five accused were convicted in connection with the woman harassment case.
The court awarded seven days of imprisonment to each of the accused. The action was completed within 48 hours of the incident, reflecting the speed of the investigation and legal process.
