Dharmendra said he sought the return of money and assets when the marriage did not take place. He alleged that assurances were initially given but later withdrawn.

He also stated that repeated demands for repayment led to threats. The issue escalated, prompting the filing of a formal complaint.

Loans and borrowings cited in the complaint

In his statement, Dharmendra said he had taken a bank loan to provide funds to Ashu Reddy. He added that he and his father also raised money through external borrowings.

He claimed that all relevant documents and evidence related to these transactions have been submitted to the police as part of the complaint.

Police action after reviewing the evidence

Authorities registered a First Information Report after reviewing the submitted evidence. The case is currently under investigation, and further action will depend on the findings.

Dharmendra stated that the complaint was filed only after collecting supporting documents and approaching the police through proper legal means.

Allegation of settlement attempt

Dharmendra also alleged that Ashu Reddy had approached mediators seeking an out-of-court settlement. He said discussions were initiated but did not lead to any resolution.
