Chief Minister Expresses Displeasure Over Incident

During the interaction, Chandrababu Naidu expressed dissatisfaction over the conduct of former MLA Varma in connection with the protocol issue. He indicated that the approach adopted in handling the situation was not appropriate.

The Chief Minister is learnt to have clearly pointed out that such behaviour does not align with party expectations. He stressed that differences among leaders should not escalate into visible disputes.

Emphasis on Party Discipline and Coordination

Chandrababu Naidu stated that party leaders are expected to function in coordination, especially in matters involving protocol. He observed that internal disagreements turning into public confrontations send the wrong signals to party workers.

He underlined that unity among leaders is essential and that disputes should be resolved through internal communication mechanisms rather than confrontation.

Advice to Escalate Issues Through Party Channels

The Chief Minister advised that if any lapse or issue arises, it should be brought to the attention of senior party leadership. He made it clear that raising concerns through appropriate channels is the expected course of action.

He cautioned that bypassing internal processes and engaging in disputes could impact organisational discipline. Such incidents, he noted, can affect the perception of the party cadre.

Direction to Prevent Recurrence

Chandrababu Naidu instructed Palla Srinivasa Rao to ensure that similar incidents do not recur. He asked the state party leadership to maintain coordination and avoid situations that could lead to friction among leaders.

The direction reflects an attempt to reinforce internal discipline and maintain a structured approach in handling protocol-related matters within the party.

Protocol-related disputes among political leaders occasionally emerge during public or official programmes. Party leaderships typically intervene to address such issues to prevent escalation and maintain organisational unity.
