The Bengaluru Police have initiated an inquiry after a one-and-a-half-year-old girl sustained critical injuries after falling from the first floor of a building. The incident, which occurred in a residential pocket of the city, was captured in its entirety by a nearby CCTV camera.

According to preliminary reports, the toddler accidentally fell from the balcony, leading to severe impact injuries. Local residents and family members rushed to the spot immediately after the fall to provide assistance.


Medical Emergency and Hospitalization

Upon witnessing the tragic accident, the child’s mother suffered a severe shock and collapsed at the scene. Both the toddler and the mother were shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency medical intervention.

Hospital authorities confirmed that the mother has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following the physical and emotional trauma. The condition of the child remains critical as doctors monitor her recovery.

Safety Protocols and Investigation

The CCTV footage of the incident is currently being reviewed by local authorities to determine if there were any lapses in safety or parental supervision. The police are also examining the structural safety of the first-floor balcony to prevent future occurrences.
