Police in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalli district have launched an investigation into the murder of a 38-year-old man in Devarapalli mandal, with the victim's wife being questioned following allegations made in a complaint filed by family members. The victim, identified as Darapureddy Appalanaidu, was a resident of Srirampuram village in Devarapalli mandal. According to preliminary information shared by police, he had been married to Haima, a native of Pothanapalli village in S. Kota mandal, for 11 years. According to police, the alleged lover is currently absconding. While the source material also refers to the absconding individual as Bandaru Satyanarayana, authorities have not clarified the discrepancy in the reported name.
